Created for world famous western artist Carlos Hadaway, this spectacular fully lined double rig, which also includes wrist cuffs and spur straps, is hand carved, and features solid brass spots and conchos with silver and gold tint buckles. This outfit will definitely draw attention wherever it's worn. The carving pattern used for the Arizona Kid originally appeared around 1880 and reflects the style of that time. The spur strap and wrist cuff designs were created from the holster carvings to give continuity to the project.
Intended not only for show, but Cowboy Action Shooting as well, one holster is for right hand "strong side" carry and the other for a right-handed cross draw. Brass spots and conchos from an original 19th century design highlight the carved black finished leather and white border stitching. The Arizona Kid is available for use with any standard Colt SAA barrel length or clone.
The two black "money belt" style cartridge belts feature 36 bullet loops, each with a circular "window," two brass conchos and special billets designed to replicate those on the gunbelt worn by Ed Schieffelin, the founder of Tombstone. Both billets feature a hand carved owner's brand. The matching wrist cuffs are fully carved and lined, decorated with brass spots, conchos and hardware, and the matching spur straps really stand out with their 2" hand engraved brass conchos, spots and buckles.
